Atheryx (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use the Atheryx platform.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data — name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
  • Profile data — optional profile photo and display name.
  • Training data — workout logs, exercise history, personal records, and survey responses you submit through the platform.
  • Coach branding data — custom subdomain, logo, and colour preferences set by coaches.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the platform.

We do not collect payment card details directly. Any payment processing is handled by third-party providers.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Atheryx platform for coaches and athletes.
  • To send transactional emails such as athlete invites and contact form confirmations.
  • To allow coaches to track athlete progress and build training programs.
  • To detect and prevent misuse or abuse of the service.
  • To improve the platform using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (serverless PostgreSQL). File uploads such as profile photos and videos are stored with Vercel Blob. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed before storage and are never stored in plain text.

Third-Party Services

Atheryx uses the following third-party services which may process your data:

  • Neon — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting and file storage
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies governing data they process on our behalf.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Cookies

Atheryx uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
